Back by popular demand, and with a combined career of over 300 years, these 6 Louisiana Legends are the epitome of “Swamp Pop.” Indigenous to the Acadiana region of south Louisiana, and created in the 1950’s and early 60’s by teenage Cajuns, swamp pop combines New Orleans style rhythm and blues, country and western, and traditional French Louisiana musical influences. Joined by the Cypress Band, Willie Tee, Bert Miller, T.K. Hulin, Jivin Gene, Christopher John and Lynn August will each have a turn at the mic performing their favorites as they return for the second year in a row at The Grand.
